KADRIS Group signs strategic agreements with ADNOC

Abu Dhabi: The UAE's National Energy Company, ADNOC, has signed Strategic Agreements with Dubai-based KADRIS Group, the company said in a media release.

Company representatives stated that strategic cooperation agreements were signed for the manufacturing of pressure vessels, packaging activities of various industrial products, and structural steel fabrication.

The agreements were signed as part of the third "Make it in the Emirates" initiative, organized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT) in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

KADRIS Group Chairman Najeeb Kadiri and ADNOC’s Group Procurement-Senior Vice President, Jasim Mohammed Saeed signed the agreements.

“As a UAE manufacturer and package integrator company in the oil and natural gas sector, we are honoured to work with ADNOC to invest in and boost local production. This is an achievement," said Najib Kadiri, chairman of KADRIS Group. KADRIS Group marks its thirtieth anniversary this year. Najeeb Kadiri announced that the management is planning extensive development projects throughout the year. The company will also pursue increased industrial investment opportunities in the UAE.

By 2031, domestic production is projected to reach three hundred billion dirhams, aimed at benefiting the UAE.

The UAE has launched the “Make it in the Emirates” initiative to promote investment opportunities in the local industry. This initiative seeks to engage government and private sector entrepreneurs and industrial establishments in domestic Manufacturing processes.
