Abu Dhabi: Marc Termath, a German expat, has been named the latest Big Ticket winner of a 24-karat gold bar.
Living in Dubai since 2011, Termath, who was as the managing director of a company, has been purchasing Big Ticket for the past four years.
“I started buying Big Ticket four years ago, whenever I felt lucky. I always selected tickets that had my lucky numbers, but this time I just chose my ticket randomly. It’s the first time in my life that I’ve won a prize. I haven’t told my wife yet; I’m keeping it as a surprise.”
When asked about his plans, he said, “I will keep the gold.”
During the same week, six other winners from India and Bangladesh each won a 24-karat gold bar in the Big Ticket daily e-draw.
