Summer exhibition in Switzerland celebrates iconic Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso

Storied Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre is celebrating its iconic Reverso timepiece with a special exhibition this summer running from July 1 to September 3 in the Vallée de Joux, where the Maison was founded 190 years ago.

The exhibition, titled ‘Reverso: Timeless Stories Since 1931’, is open to the public free of charge at the Espace Horloger museum located near the the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, with additional programmes that allow visitors to immerse themselves in haute watchmaking with special workshop experiences designed just for the event.

First launched in 1931 as a tough watch created for the polo field, the Reverso has endured for more than 90 years as one of the most instantly recognisable watches on the market. The exhibition explores the legendary Reverso through four themes celebrating the tale of its origins, its Art Deco design, the numerous technical innovations necessary for its flip-over case, and finally the artistic expression seen in the exquisite craftsmanship of the watch.
